for sale here is a very good allcocks reel but made by youngs , its “the seymour”  in a 3.5″ size , twin checks , black and grey bobble finish , left right wind , very good condition with 99% original finish , this is actually quite a scarce little reel with this badge on it , its basically a beaudex but a rarer trade reel and named the seymour due to patent issues with youngs ,  .  good to use or collect , any questions just ask , i will post anywhere insured and recorded and please view my other many listings of vintage items this week….thanks for looking..

 for sale here is a ryobi 355 salmon fly reel in a 3.5″ size , 2 screw drum release , rim tensioner , left or right wind , reversible lineguard , reel is in fine very little used condition with no damage at all , comes with  ryobi pouch which has the obligatory little tear beside the zip (these are like the marquis pouches and usually always have a litle rip in this weak spot)  anyway the reel is all good and a fine and very clean working example ,  im not 100% sure but i think these reels are made of magnesium which is much lighter and stronger than the usual cheaper alloy , i quite like this reel and would use it myself as its a good clicker and has good strong no-nonsense check on it.becoming quite popular now these ryobi reels as they are considered quite retro style now….    …   anyway have a good look at the fotos … , good to use or collect , any questions just ask , i will post anywhere insured and recorded and please view my other many listings of vintage items this week ….thanks for looking..

ABU  MULTIPLIER REEL (SILVER) - No 06 68 C-68 ON REEL FOOT - I WAS UNSURE OF MODEL BUT ‘RAY’ HAS PROVIDED MORE INFO

AND HAS CONFIRMED THAT THE REEL IS MODEL ‘C5500C3′ SWEDISH MADE IN 2006 (THANKS RAY) -

‘ABU GARCIA’ ON ONE END PLATE AND ‘MADE IN SWEDEN’ ON OTHER END PLATE – IN GOOD CONDITION

AND WORKS WELL – ONLY A FEW MINOR SCRAPE MARKS FROM NORMAL WEAR – MEASURES APPX 1.5in BETWEEN

THE END PLATES.

ONCE AGAIN THIS WAS A BACK UP REEL FROM A SALMON ANGLER WHO ONLY USED A MULTIPLIER IN SCOTLAND

WHEN CONDITIONS WERE UNFAVOURABLE FOR THE FLY.

FROM MY OWN COLLECTION WHICH NOW HAS TO BE REDUCED CONSIDERABLY BEFORE

THE LOFT CONTENTS ARRIVE IN THE LIVING ROOM.

This reel was probably manufactured by Portage The ratchet is working but seems a little weak in one direction
it has one screw missing from one of the raised pillars Tension drag adjuster is in working order & spool spins
 freely with no tight spots has the no 60 stamped on reel foot.
